Labor dispute criminal charges

Law.com has covered an interesting case from downstate NY. An attorney has been charged, along with 10 nurses, for criminal conspiracy to resign en masse, which according to the DA endangered the lives of disabled patients. Although the State Ed Department, which oversees the nurses, found no liability, the DA presented the case to the grand jury. The question is apparently whether the attorney encouraged or advised the nurses to quit.

Labor lawyers seem to be watching this case closely.

Great Blog. Criminal act is defined as any crime which poses a substantial threat of personal injury, notwithstanding that by reason of age, insanity, intoxication or otherwise the person engaging in the act, omission, or possession was legally incapable of committing a crime. At this time Criminal lawyer can help you.
